Bathshack has officially named PIPS Suicide Prevention Ireland as one of its Charity Partners for 2026, confirming a year-long commitment to supporting mental health services and raising awareness across Northern Ireland.
The partnership will see Bathshack roll out a programme of fundraising initiatives, awareness campaigns and community engagement activities throughout 2026, aimed at generating both financial support and greater understanding of mental health challenges.
Peter Dulop, CEO of Bathshack, said:
“We are honoured to name PIPS Suicide Prevention as one of Bathshack’s Charity Partners for 2026. The work PIPS Charity does every day provides critical support to those in crisis and makes a real difference in our communities. Throughout 2026, we look forward to raising awareness and funds to support their essential services and help shine a light on the importance of mental health.”
PIPS Suicide Prevention Ireland, founded in 2003, has grown to become a leading suicide prevention charity and is a founding partner of the National Suicide Prevention Network, in conjunction with The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales. The organisation operates from locations across the region, delivering crisis intervention, counselling, advocacy, community outreach, befriending support and dedicated children and young people’s services in Belfast for those aged four to 18.
In addition to its core services, PIPS runs a Friday night crisis helpline, providing support at times when other services may be unavailable, as well as crisis walk-in support at its Belfast offices during opening hours.
As a charity that is not government funded and relies heavily on fundraising and donations, PIPS depends on partnerships with businesses and communities to maintain and develop its services.
Lisa Abell Farrelly, Fundraising Manager at PIPS Charity, added:
“Support from businesses like Bathshack makes a real and tangible difference to the people who turn to us in times of crisis. This partnership is about more than fundraising, it is about standing together to prioritise mental health and ensure that no one feels alone when they are struggling. By working alongside Bathshack, we can strengthen our services, expand our reach and continue providing compassionate, life saving support across Northern Ireland.”
