Ireland’s Bathroom Trade Awards has launched a brand-new podcast series celebrating the people, businesses and innovations shaping the bathroom industry across the island of Ireland.

The Ireland’s Bathroom Trade Awards Podcast will feature conversations with leading figures from across the sector, offering listeners valuable insights into their careers, business journeys and the trends influencing the future of the bathroom market. The series forms part of the countdown to the Ireland’s Bathroom Trade Awards 2026, shining a spotlight on the expertise and innovation driving the industry forward.

The debut episode features Richard Sloan, CEO of SONAS Bathrooms, who discusses the company’s growth, how the bathroom sector has evolved in recent years, the challenges and opportunities facing the industry today, and his advice for those considering a career in the industry.

The podcast is proudly sponsored by SONAS Bathrooms, one of Ireland’s leading bathroom brands with almost 50 years of experience supplying homeowners and the trade across Ireland and the UK.

Commenting on the launch, the Ireland’s Bathroom Trade Awards team said:

“The podcast gives us the opportunity to showcase the incredible people behind Ireland’s bathroom industry. Through honest conversations with business leaders and innovators, we’re celebrating the achievements, expertise and passion that continue to drive the sector forward.”

New episodes will be released regularly in the lead-up to the Ireland’s Bathroom Trade Awards 2026, taking place on 20th November at The Johnstown Estate Hotel & Spa, Co. Meath.

The awards recognise excellence across the bathroom sector, celebrating achievements in product innovation, showroom excellence, design, customer experience and more. Entries remain open to bathroom retailers, suppliers, manufacturers, designers and sector specialists from across the island of Ireland, with submissions independently assessed by an experienced panel of judges.

The first episode of the Ireland’s Bathroom Trade Awards Podcast is available to listen to now, with further episodes to be announced throughout the awards campaign.
